August is the awkward sister of the year. You don't know whether you should wear a tank top or flannel, flip flops or booties. This month's blog we are going to help you transition slowly into the cooler months, without feeling like you pushed Fall on too quickly.
Keep your floral tops and dresses, just deepen the color. There are still plenty of flowers around in the Fall. It's not only pumpkins and acorns. Here is a list of all the best flowers to have during the Fall season.
Instead of bright yellows and blues, try deep reds and olive greens.
Get rid of your cutoff shorts and wear jeans! You're no longer on the boardwalk, throw some jeans on for the camp fire. Depending how you wear them, they can be as casual as you want them, with a plain tee, or dress them up with a cute blouse and heels.
Express has some extremely comfortable jeans, with different stretches, you can find your perfect fit. Plus, they always have great sales.
Layers! My favorite part of the cooler weather is being able to layer! Add on a cardigan, scarf, or leg warmers. Keep that cute summer tank, just throw on a leather jacket when you go out fro drinks.
Who said the jacket has to have sleeves? Layer with a vest like the one above.
Bold lips. Let's bring back to deep burgundy lipstick and warm neutrals. Anastasia Beverly Hills just released some beautiful matte lipsticks. Check out the 30 new shades below.
My favorites are Dusty Mauve and Buff, but I cannot wait to get some more!
Boots! Bust out your dusty boots that have been waiting to be worn since last Winter! Booties to thigh highs, it is a great time to start incorporating them into your wardrobe. Read here on how to cuff your jeans correctly for ankle boots.
We hope this blog helps you transition to Fall! Show us how you transition your wardrobe!
